“ My slice of disappointment”If you're in the mood for a pizza experience that will leave you questioning your life choices, then look no further than this charming little slice joint. A friend recently decided to treat me to a culinary adventure, and I was eager to dive in. I ordered the Napoli, topped with artichoke hearts and anchovies, but what I got was a masterclass in how to ruin perfectly good cheese pizza.First off, let’s talk about the cheese pizza itself. It had the potential to be great—perfectly pre-baked and ready for toppings—but instead, it was simply waiting for them to be slopped on afterward in a haphazard manner. The artichoke hearts arrived looking as if they had just emerged from a jar of oil, still glistening like they were ready for their close-up in a low-budget cooking show. Honestly, I half expected them to start talking about their life story. I don't know what I was expecting, but a little warmth wouldn’t have hurt. They could have at least pretended to bake it.And then there were the anchovies. Oh, the anchovies! They were so graphic that I felt like I was watching a horror movie unfold on my plate. Nothing says "appetizing" quite like fish that looks like it swam here from the depths of despair. I’m convinced they were auditioning for a role in a sea creature thriller. My friend ordered the pesto pizza with chicken, which was supposed to be a flavor explosion but turned out to be a culinary cataclysm. The cheese pizza was also pre-baked with marinara sauce, and then they decided to add the toppings in a corky way after it was cooked, like a pizza version of a slapdash art project. The pesto? Oh, the pesto! It wasn’t so much drizzled as it was dumped in a lump on top, as if someone had mistaken it for a boulder in a food avalanche. As for the chicken on that pizza, it looked like it had just emerged from a frozen food aisle, breaded and lightly heated to the point where it felt like it needed a hug. It was chopped up into pieces that seemed to be in a perpetual state of identity crisis—too breaded to be chicken, too sad to be a snack. Now, onto the slice of Margherita that we shared. It was, well, okay. I suppose it’s hard to mess up a classic when it’s just a cheese pizza with some raw tomatoes on top like a soggy salad. But hey, at least I like tomatoes! If you’re into fresh produce, this slice is your jackpot—just don’t expect any heat. It was as if the slice had been given a stern talking-to instead of a proper bake. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cute and quite charming, which added a bit of allure to the experience. However, it seemed like school must’ve just let out, as there were a lot of unruly kids bothering patrons for money and causing a ruckus. While it’s clear this restaurant cannot control the antics of children running wild outside, it was still a bit surprising to encounter such chaos in an otherwise pleasant setting. In conclusion, if you’re looking for a pizza experience that’s both disappointing and oddly humorous, this place has you covered. Just remember to bring your own oven if you want your toppings to actually be warm.

Absolutely my favorite Italian restaurant. Their pizza crust is the absolute perfect crispiness while still being soft that you could ask for. Not to mention how amazing their actual Italian dishes are. We got the eggplant parmesan a slice of pie a salad and a few other pasta items that I can't recall but everything was delicious and topped it all off with the best cannolis you've ever had. I can't go here without getting one. Service has always been great and I really enjoy coming to Evelyn's. And you definitely cannot be the price for what you get!!! Dine-in for lunch or dinner and have an amazing experience and meal!! Thanks everyone!!!

I've had the pizza but tried to order pickup tonight and it is putting in a $ tip that I cannot remove so I ordered elsewhere. There is no reason to tip if I am picking up and not having someone serve me. A forced charge is not a tip either. If you need to charge more to pay a decent wage then do that. This is not honest to force a "tip" in this manor. Never ordering here again.

Their GIANT ” across pizza was amazing! My kids wanted pizza so I wanted to do something unique and special as a surprise and Evelyn's did not disappoint! The pizza tasted great. I made the order over the phone the lady was nice and pizza was ready within minutes. I would highly recommend for kids birthdays office events getting the GIANT pizza taste great and is an experience. The cost was really good I paid $ for pepperoni with extra sauce. I've seen other pizzerias do GIANT pizzas and charge upwards of $ starting price. I highly recommend and will be back!
